Teenagers are required by law to take six hours of behind-the-wheel training course with a driving school.
A teenager learners permit is not valid till it is signed and activated by a driving instructor licensed by California DMV, Once you get your permit call us and sign up for your six hours behind the wheel course.
We divide our six hours DMV-certified course into three two-hour driving lessons, designed to be totally comprehensive in instruction and content.
For your lesson, our instructors will come to the address you provide, either home or school, to pick you up for the lesson, and will drop you off at the end of the lesson at your address.
Most of the times we start the student from scratch - we start our students off in a parking lot to learn basic driving mechanisms and maneuvers, and after the student spends some time driving in the parking lot, we take the student to the streets to drive, first in low traffic conditions and then we progressively proceed to normal driving.
The first lesson is usually about driving in city streets, and during the second lesson, the student is introduced to more advanced driving skill under normal traffic conditions. The last lesson is dedicated to preparing the student for their behind the wheel driving test.
To prepare the student for the behind the wheel driving exam, we go over the test and explain what they will need to know - this includes hand signals, parts of the vehicle, and all necessary skills.
During behind-the-wheel training, we cover all the skills the student needs to know to be a safe and courteous driver.
The behind-the-wheel lessons taken with us are very affordable and very high-quality - our instructors are highly trained and committed to teaching your student everything they need to know to drive defensively in Sacramento.
